To change this perception of the character, she walked on the Gear cover partially clothed. The Jessica's fans were furious at this action. Jessica resigned from the TV show 7th Heaven after performing in the sixth season. The movie Ulee's Gold and her outstanding performance in it as teenager Casey Jackson brought instant fame to her. For this film, she received the award for Best Young Supporting actress. Summer Catch, her comedy film, demonstrates her incredible acting abilities. Despite her impressive performance in Rules of Attraction her film didn't receive much attention. The performance she gave in The Texas Chainshaw Massacre, the horror film that she starred in attracted the attention of the world. She's also featured in suspenseful film and has proven herself an actress.
