Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Elis Taylor is the American stage and screen actress and producer. She is most famous as a film actress due to her performances in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in African-American Studies at Brown University, and a Master in Fine Arts in Acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis, a producer and American actor active in the theatre, television and film. She began her acting career with theater, and was later featured in several television series and independent and mainstream films. She gained fame for playing Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make an appearance on BET's epic TV series The Book of Negroes. She began her career as an actor in the year 1995, when she appeared as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. Her credits on stage include The Broadway production that Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. She is most well-known for her roles in the films Men of Honor and The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. On television her regular role on ABC's drama series about police High Incident has earned her praises.
