Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of fourteen years old. In addition to BJJ training, she also trained in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. When she was 18, she made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd became more confident after this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell during the first round. In WCFC Ladd fought, she defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and swept her away in an unanimous vote to remove an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen began her career in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her debut professional fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen go into the Bantamweight division after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her impressive wrestler skills to knock down McGill and then ended the fight with a the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy in the catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd did not gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in second round by TKO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina, and ground-and - pounded her for the TKO victory in the 2nd round. She remained dominant and picked up another victory over Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd beat Evinger by a punch in the opening round, and earned a performance of the night bonus. Invicta FC's Sijara Eubanks was her opponent for an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's first big fight. Both fighters fought a close fight that Ladd won by unanimous decision. Both fighters were awarded an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in 16-seconds to break her winning streak. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya during the third round of UFC in ESPN 7. In her place, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight ended in an unanimous decision.
