Anne Celeste Heche was an American actress who was known for her performances in a variety of types of film, television and theatre. Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6, 1953) is an American actor from America. She is best known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba, in the 1978-1979 television series Battlestar Galactica. She is the daughter of actress June Lockhart. Her grandfather was actor Gene Lockhart. The career of Lockhart began in a young age. For T is for Tumbleweed, Lockhart's first film role came aged four. The film, which was a short one subject, was nominated for an academy award. The actress would often be seen working on set with her mom, where she would learn about the nuances of the business world. Lockhart even appeared in several seasons of Lassie. It's possible that one of her agents turned down the offer because of her, but she didn't tell her. She was initially chosen for the part by Glen Larson who sent her an initial script for an appearance in the 1978 television series Battlestar Galactica. She rejected the role initially as the character wasn't that powerful. Glen invented a new character to play for her with Sheba being a more formidable character. The Living Legend's first 25-page script had been read by Sheba and she was immediately in agreement. It ran for a single season. She was in Joyride the 1977 film with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine (son Desi Arnaz Jr. Lucille and Lucille) as well as together with Robert Carradine. In 1987 she appeared in a co-production with Michael Moriarty and The Dark Tower.
