She was initially chosen for the part by Glen Larson who sent her an initial script for an appearance in the 1978 television series Battlestar Galactica. She rejected the role initially as the character wasn't that powerful. Glen invented a new character to play for her with Sheba being a more formidable character. The Living Legend's first 25-page script had been read by Sheba and she was immediately in agreement. It ran for a single season. She was in Joyride the 1977 film with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine (son Desi Arnaz Jr. Lucille and Lucille) as well as together with Robert Carradine. In 1987 she appeared in a co-production with Michael Moriarty and The Dark Tower.
