Aura Sanchez Garrido works as an actress on Spanish television and film. She has appeared as an actor in Stockholm as well the TV series El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido began her career in Madrid, in 1989. Garrido's father Tomas Garrido is a composer and orchestra conductor, and her mother, Pilar Sanchez, works as an artist. She took her first piano lessons when she was 4 years old. Then, shortly after that, she began to study ballet. She can speak English due to her English-speaking best friend growing up. After she had completed her high school studies, she joined the Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico. She studied the interpretation of texts and interpretive techniques in her third year. In this film, her performance was rewarded with the Silver Biznaga and nominations for Goya Awards, including the most promising new actress.
